MIA Essentials
Maid In Alberta would like to present to you something that has been Missing In Action. As you may know, we use natural and chemical-free supplies in all cleaning. These products do a fantastic job, and leave your home looking great. Unfortunately, they do not contain any fragrance. This is what has been Missing In Action, a great smelling Home and Office!
With that, we set out on a mission to find ways to help you get the experience you deserve. The answer is in our new exclusive ‘Mia Essentials’ line of essential oil infused cleaning products.
Essential Oils are the highly concentrated, aromatic essences of plants. The variety of oils are extensive, therefore we have chosen these products that we will be using in your homes.

Three scents to choose from
LEMON

Lemon essential oil is made with fresh lemons through cold pressing. It possesses antibacterial properties and is suitable for a number of cleaning jobs around the house.
Did you know it requires about 3,000 lemons to make one kilo of lemon essential oil? Or that lemon has been used throughout history to protect against immune threats? The aroma of the oil is citrusy, sharp, and slightly sweet – kinda like a lemon. (Surprise!)
PEPPERMINT

The smell of peppermint alone is beneficial in improving memory, making you feel more alert, and relieving stress. Overall, the smell of peppermint gives people a burst of physical and mental energy.
Peppermint is also known for it’s ability to ease the symptoms of depression. Peppermint also possesses anti microbial and anti-bacterial properties which can prevent the growth or overgrowth of potentially harmful bacteria.
LAVENDER

The calming, soothing and nurturing scent encourages balance in all body systems. For example, reducing anxiety and fear thereby helping to calm and control panic attacks.
Lavander also has, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties and is a valuable support for the respiratory system.

FEATURING: Cinnamon & Clove
Two of the main components of our featured blend are Cinnamon essential oil and Clove essential oil, which is why we like it so much.
Cinnamon oil is distilled from the leaf and/or bark of the tree. Cinnamon is a stimulant that relaxes and balances the nerves.
Clove oil has many similarities to Cinnamon essential oil. Clove essential oil is distilled from the flower bud of the clove plant; it is antiseptic, antifungal, and antiviral. Clove oil kills mouth bacteria which is why it’s so widely used as an ingredient in toothpastes and mouthwashes. It’s a centuries-old remedy for toothache, and can also relieve the symptoms of cold, flu and headache.
